Police arrested 30-year-old Reynaldo Reyes-Perdomo on a Level 1 felony charge of child molesting.

Seymour police were called to Cypress Lake on State Road 11, near I-65 about the incident. The incident happened outside of the city limits, so police contacted Indiana State Police.

Trooper Andrew Mitchell interviewed the girl, who told him Perdomo had forced himself on her outside of a vehicle at Cypress Lake.

Perdomo admitted to sexually touching as he was driving the girl to the lake.

He told police "it just kind of happened."

The girl told police Perdomo also forced her to touch him, but he denied that allegation.

According to court documents, Perdomo admitted to touching the victim during an encounter at a residence in Seymour about a week before the incident at Cypress Lake.

He told police he felt guilty about the incidents.

Perdomo is being held without bond in the Brownstown Jail without bond.
