(BLOOMINGTON) - A new report from Indiana University shows arrests for liquor law violations more than doubled on its Bloomington campus in 2017 - from 179 in 2016, to 243 in 2017.
The IU Security & Fire Safety report provides statistics for a variety of safety and security concerns on and around each of the university's campuses.
Dating violence also increased. Last year there were 16 incidents on campus with 4 incidents off campus. Stalking incidents also increased from 17 in 2016, to 25 on-campus incidents and 2 off-campus incidents in 2017.
Drug law violations were down from 171 in 2016, to 145 on-campus arrests in 2017.
