(BEDFORD) - More than 430 people participated in 5K and 75 ran in the Limestone Half Marathon Saturday in downtown Bedford.
The event is directed by the Bedford City Parks and Recreation Department and includes a 5K run/walk and one-mile family fitness walk. The action started at 8 a.m.

Top Males
First Place - Abraham Cheplaiti, 30, of Kenya, with a time of 1:10:57.70
Second Place - Eliud Kirui, 42, of Terre Haute with a time of 1:10:59.34
Third Place - Logan Barrett, 25, of Bedford, with a time of 1:14:48.58
Top Females
First Place - Rebecca Kleihege, 42, Mitchell, with a time of 1:41:42.72, she finished 9th overall
Second Place - AvaBreck Lawler, 33, of French Lick, with a time of 1:44:48.93. She placed 12th overall
Third Place - Christina Schmidt, 44, of Bloomington, with a time of 1:53:46.87. She placed 24th overall

Second Place - P. Matson, 12, of Bedford, with a time of 18:39.38

Second Place - Madisyn Bailey, 13, of Bedford, with a time of 24:42.83. She placed 5th overall
Third Place - V. Claire, 9, of Bedford, with a time of 25:40.89. She placed 9th overall
