Drug Arrests in Washington Nets more than $10,000 of Meth

(WASHINGTON) - A drug arrest Friday in Washington netted a quarter pound of meth with a street value of more than $10,000.

Police also recovered Schedule II and IV controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Washington Police with the assistance of the DEA Task Force and State Police stopped an Oldsmobile driven by Shaw Carrico.

K-9 officer Drago alerted police to possible drugs in the vehicle.

Police arrested the driver, 43-year-old Carrico, of Washington and his two passengers, 33-year-old Oakley Phillips, of Washington and 35-year-old David Hillger, of Oaktown, on charges of conspiracy to deal meth, possession of meth and possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.

Phillips was also wanted on a warrant in Knox County.

After the traffic stop, officers secured a search warrant for the owner of the vehicle - 33-year-old Tiffany Sexton, of Washington.

At the home, police found more meth, drug paraphernalia, marijuana, and four firearms.

Sexton was then arrested on charges of possession of meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
