Bedford Woman Injured After Another Driver Crashed Into Her Car

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was injured after another driver either fell asleep or blacked out while driving Saturday morning.

According to a Bedford Police report, 22-year-old Jesse Prince of Bedford was traveling west on 29th Street around 7:20 a.m. when he either blacked out or fell asleep while driving.

Prince told police when he woke he saw headlights before crashing his 2010 Chevrolet Colorado into a 2015 Ford Edge driven by 75-year-old Julia Curren, head-on.

Curren complained of shoulder and upper arm pain and was transported by ambulance to IU Health Hospital for treatment.

Prince was treated at the scene and refused to be transported to the hospital.
