(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man suffered fatal injuries after he crashed his vehicle in a ditch on Old State Road 37 Friday morning.
According to a Lawrence County Sheriff's Department police report, 57-year-old Bradley Stewart, of 1920 Old State Road 37 North, suffered severe bruising and bleeding to the right side of his face. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash was reported just after 8 a.m. on Old State Road 37 North, near Washboard Road.
Police says Stewart 1999 Chrysler Sebring veered off the road and hit a ditch. Police say the vehicle went airborne after hitting the ditch. He was not wearing a seat belt.
