White River Valley Schools on Two Hour Delay

Last updated on Monday, September 10, 2018

(GREENE CO.) - White River Valley Schools are on a two-hour delay today.

Superintendent Bob Hacker sent out the message early Monday morning stating the middle school had no water. Thus prompting the two-hour delay for all schools in the district.

Just before 8 a.m., Hacker issued an update on the issue, stating the leak has been found and WRV schools will remain on a two-hour delay.

"We have located the leak at the middle school, and the Town of Lyons is fixing it, so we will stay on a two-hour delay," Hacker said. "Thanks to the Town of Lyons for their quick action and thank you for your patience."
