(MITCHELL) - The Tri Kappa annual Candlelight Tour is Saturday, September 22, at Spring Mill State Park.
In traditional dress, Tri Kappa members and their families along with Spring Mill employees and their friends will be reenacting the pioneer life of their ancestors by inhabiting the houses and buildings of the restored village to make it come alive, as it would have been in the mid 1800's.
Pioneer crafts, demonstrations, and entertainment by many musical groups will be a part of the tour.
Visitors are asked to please bring a flashlight.
Tri Kappa Members will sell concession and food items in the Carriage House.
The tour is from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. There will be a park admission charge of $7 for in-state licensed and $9 for out-of-state licensed vehicles. The village tour is free of charge.
