Last updated on Tuesday, September 25, 2018

(BLOOMINGTON) - The City of Bloomington and Monroe County Government have partnered on developing a community resource guide for information on Substance Use Disorder and Recovery. The resource guide was created to address the needs of individuals in and around the community who are struggling with substance use disorder.

The Bloomington-Monroe County Resource Guide for Substance Use Disorder and Recovery includes information ranging from anonymous support groups to safe places to stay and get a warm meal to a variety of treatment options for those seeking recovery, both in our community and beyond.

The guide is available at the City's Community and Family Resources Department, Monroe County Commissioners Office, and the Monroe County Public Library. The guide can also be accessed online at https://bloomington.in.gov/health/substance-use-disorder.

For more information about the resource guide, contact Sue Owens at 812-349-3468 or owenss@bloomington.in.gov.
