(MORGAN CO.) - Indiana Department of Transportation’s contractor for a $1.1 million pipe lining project that calls for reinforcing seven drainage culverts in Jefferson, Morgan, Ripley and Washington Counties plans to install a 72-inch diameter liner measuring 340 feet in length at State Road 67 and Stafford Lane near Bethany Park.
Construction signs will be placed this week. Pipelining operations are scheduled to occur next week.
Impact to State Road 67 traffic should be minimal. Motorists may experience flagging activities when trucks load in/out of the project site. Single lane closures may be imposed if needed.
Temple & Temple Excavating & Paving is the state's contractor. Crews from the Salem-based company have completed pipe lining installations on State Road 62 at Madison and on State Road 129 near Versailles.
