State Police, Salem Police And Washington County Sheriff' Deputies Slam The Door On Ten Drug Related Offenders

(WASHINGTON CO.) - On Monday, officers from the Indiana State Police, Salem Police Department, and Washington County Sheriff’s Department executed arrest warrants and search warrants across Washington County.

Their first stop was at 410 Baird Boulevard. Once there police arrested two individuals on arrest warrants out of Washington County - 28-year-old Jennifer Baker, on six counts of dealing heroin and Sean Thompson, 32, on two outstanding warrants for aiding in the dealing of heroin. Both Baker and Thompson lived in the home. They are also facing charges of possession of heroin, possession of a hypodermic needle, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.

Officers then traveled to a home at 521 East Charles Street in Pekin. Officers went to the residence to serve arrest warrants on three individuals, 59-year-old Gregory Tweedy, 57-year-old Kathy Tweedy, and 28-year-old Evan Tweedy. All three of the residents were wanted on warrants for maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana and cultivating marijuana. They also face new, additional charges of maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana and cultivating marijuana. Evan Tweedy was also charged with possession of a Schedule I controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kathy Tweedy and Evan Tweedy were arrested at their home. Gregory Tweedy who was not home turned himself into the Washington County Sheriff's Department.

The third location was 109 Allen Court in Salem where five people were arrested. Tim N. Root, 48, from 109 Allen Court, in Salem, was charged with dealing in meth, possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Karen Sue Lashbrooks, 63, also from 109 Allen Court in Salem, was charged with dealing in meth, possession of meth and maintaining a common nuisance. Daniel E. Crady, 37, from 2343 Marrs Road in Salem, was charged with possession of meth and visiting a common nuisance. Deborah K. Morgan, 56, from 8201 N. Logan Drive in Salem, was charged with visiting a common nuisance. Joshua Lee Burnett, 39, from 27622 Jackson Road in Borden was charged with visiting a common nuisance.

All were incarcerated at the Washington County Jail.
