Safety Night Out Is Thursday At East Side Park

(WASHINGTON) - Safety Night Out is set for Thursday at East Side Park in Washington.

Washington Police Chief Todd Church says this will be the largest Safety Night ever in Washington and encourages everyone to come and enjoy in the fun.

The event is from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

There will be various demonstrations, free food and drink, blood pressure screening, kids' games, and inflatables, free prizes and more.

One attraction will be St. Vincent StatFlight. Those attending can tour the only aircraft in the area that carries blood and plasma on every flight.

Say hello to Flight Crew members and see the Mobile Simulation Lab. Meet the StatFlight membership team and learn about the benefits of membership.

There will also be free hot dogs compliments of the Police and Fire Departments, as long as they last.
