(WALESBORO) - A fatal crash closed all lanes of Interstate 65 near the Walesboro exit last night for about three hours.
The accident was reported around 9:30 p.m. last night at about the 64 mile marker, and the highway reopened at about 12:30 a.m. this morning.
Traffic was redirected onto State Road 11 and U.S. 31 during the cleanup at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation and this story will be updated when more details become available.
