(BICKNELL) - The Indiana Department of Transportation has postponed today’s scheduled closure of State Road 159 for a pipe replacement project near Bicknell.
The new date is Monday, September 17th.
At the same time, INDOT has announced a pipe replacement project on State Road 58 between State Road 159 and State Road 67.
That project will begin on or around Monday, September 24th.
Work is expected to last about 5-7 days on each pipe replacement project, depending upon weather conditions. During the operations, the closures will be in place around the clock.
Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure. All other traffic should use the official detours.
For State Road 159 the official detour uses State Road 67 and State Road 58. For State Road. 58 it uses State Road 159 and State Road 67.
