(MITCHELL) - Here are the events for today at the Persimmon Festival.
7-10:30 a.m. - Pancake, biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage breakfast at the Mitchell Masonic Lodge located at Ninth and Brook St.
7:30 a.m. - Persimmon 5K registration at MHS
8-11 a.m. Persimmon Pudding & Novelty Dessert Contest, Registration until 11 a.m. at the Mitchell First Church of God.
9:00 a.m. - Tri-County Tractor & Equipment Show located Hoosier Uplands at Sixth and Main St.
9:00 a.m. - Cruise-in at the Mitchell Opera House parking lot located at Seventh and Brook St.
9:30 a.m. - Motorcycle show at the Mitchell Opera House parking lot located at Seventh and Brook St.
11:00 a.m. - Chicken barbecue dinner at the Seventh St. food tent sponsored by the Mitchell Lions Club.
12:00 p.m. - Carnival resumes. Unlimited ride armbands will be available for purchase for $20.
12:30 p.m.- Baby Contest Winners announced on the Main St. Stage.
1:00 p.m. - Pre-parade introductions on the Main St. Stage.
2:00 p.m. - Grand Parade will happen rain or shine. Starts at Lehigh Field and ends near Hancock Avenue.
3:45 p.m. - Circle City Sidewalk Stompers on the Main St. Stage.
4:15 p.m. - Persimmon Festival awards for the Persimmon Pudding and Novelty Dessert Contest on the Main St. Stage.
5:30 p.m. - Tight Rope Band on the Main St. Stage.
7:30 p.m. - The Linda Smith Band on the Main St. Stage.
