(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Cancer Patient Services annual auto show raised around $16,000 on Saturday.
Most of the funds came from entry fees. La-Or-Ma Shriner's concession stand raised $1,800. Alley Bank made a $5,000 donation. Change dropped into a donation can raised $600, along with funds from a dunk tank, sponsorships and a silent auction.
The money will be used to assist cancer patients in Lawrence County - with gas cards, medical supplies, and test and other needs.
The show drew around 155 vehicles - cars, trucks, motorcycles, and tractors at Bedford Ford Lincoln on State Road 37.
Those attending got to share their stories and shake hands with cancer survivor WISH-TV meteorologist, Randy Ollis.
