(ELLETTSVILLE) - Both directions of State Road 46 traffic at Ellettsville will be restricted to traveling in the westbound lanes through the town’s one-way pair section Saturday between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. while the community stages Monroe County Fall Festival activities - beginning with the annual parade.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has issued a permit allowing the S.R. 46/Temperance Street (eastbound lanes) closure.
The Fall Festival parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. starting at Edgewood Drive. It will proceed to Paul Street, Ritter Street, and Sale Street before returning to Edgewood Drive.
In case of rain, activities will be postponed until Sunday, September 23.
Activities centered at the Marci Jane Lewis Park begin Thursday evening. Friday and Saturday events feature craft booths, food vendors, a commercial tent and music stages.
