Allen is facing felony charges of theft and official misconduct.

Allen is accused of stealing $20 from a suspect's wallet while processing him for arrest at the Bedford police station.

According to a Lawrence Superior Court I probable cause affidavit, Indiana State Police investigated the theft. ISP alleges footage from a body camera shows Allen taking the money from a person's wallet, then placing it into his own wallet.

Allen is being represented by Bedford attorney Tim Sledd. James Gallagher is the prosecuting attorney.
