Greene County Receives Grant To Improve Broadband Speeds

(GREENE CO.) - Greene County, including Bloomfield, Jasonville, Switz City, and Worthington, has received a $50,000 Broadband Readiness Planning Grant from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs.
Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch says its part of an effort to bring high-speed broadband service to the entire state.
Crouch says the grant will allow Greene County to develop a plan that will educate, create and identify ways to improve broadband speeds in the county.
