(INDIANAPOLIS) - Electric Consumer, the monthly publication of Indiana’s electric cooperatives, is recognizing businesses and attractions throughout the state its “Best of Indiana” contest. The magazine’s Readers’ Choice Awards allowed readers to vote in six categories.
Contest categories included Indiana's best antique store, fried chicken, guys' getaway and girls' getaway. In the latter category, Orange County's French Lick Resorts, featuring French Lick Resort and West Baden Springs Hotel, was recognized as the "2018 Best Girls' Getaway" in Indiana.

The resort communities of French Lick and West Baden have been welcoming guests for over 100 years. Electric Consumer readers were impressed by the resorts' pampering spas, a variety of restaurants and activities for gal pals who need a weekend to themselves. Last year, the magazine's readers named French Lick Resorts as the best weekend getaway.
