Last updated on Friday, September 21, 2018

(BEDFORD) - If your lawn looks a bit sad after a hot summer and you’re not sure how to maintain it as we move into winter. Phil Burke, Otis Park Grounds Superintendent will be sharing a wealth of knowledge from his experience managing grass and lawns.

The educational program on lawn maintenance and recovery will be presented on Tuesday, September 25, at 6 p.m. at Wilson Park Shelter House. Bring your lawn care questions, Phil will be happy to try to answer them.

The program is part of the Bedford Park Outdoor Series. This free program is at the historic Wilson Park Shelter House on Denson Avenue in Bedford. The indoor shelter house is pleasant in any weather.

Please RSVP for the program at 812-275-5692 so we have enough handouts and chairs ready.

Also mark your calendar for Tuesday, October 23, when the Outdoor Program Series will feature a program by the Master Gardeners on Growing Cool Season Vegetables.
