Last updated on Sunday, September 16, 2018

(GREENE CO.) - A defense contractor is planning to locate in southwest Indiana, a move projected to create 160 jobs over the next four years.

Gov. Eric Holcomb joined executives of Integrity Defense Services on Friday to announce the plans.

The company was founded 2017. It fabricates, assembles and refurbishes defense system components.

Company officials plan to invest at least $1 million leasing and equipping a 40,000-square-foot campus in Greene County that will include five buildings.

The company was offered $1.8 million in tax credits and $100,000 in training grants by the Indiana Economic Development Corp. The company can only collect those subsidies if it follows through with its hiring plans.
