(WASHINGTON CO.) - State Road 60 East, near Voyles Road, was closed for a short period of time this morning while emergency personnel worked a one vehicle crash.
The driver was traveling eastbound and left the south side of the road and overturned in a creek.
The vehicle was over an embankment and well hidden in the trees and it took police and first responders a few extra minutes to locate the vehicle.
The driver was transported to St. Vincent Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Indiana State Police Trooper Kevin Bowling is investigating the crash and was assisted by the Washington County Sheriff's Department, Pekin Town Marshal, members of the Pierce/Polk Volunteer Fire Department and the Washington County Ambulance Service.
