Bedford's First Annual Bed Race Oct. 13th

(BEDFORD) - It time to pick your team for Bedford’s first annual Bed Race, October 13th.

The Bedford Bed Race is a competition where 3-5 person teams build and decorate their own "beds" to race around the Courthouse Square.

Four Race Divisions are - Business, School, Seniors, and Open.

The cost is $25 per entry.

To submit an entry form go to www.downtownbedford.org or pick one up at the Bedford Chamber of Commerce or Bedford Federal Savings Bank.

Team Check-in is 11 a.m. until Noon at Harp Commons. Parade of Beds will begin at 12:15 p.m. The race will start after the bed parade at the Start-Finish Line in front of the Miss Indiana Statue.

An overall award will be given for People's Choice

The day will include the Farmers Market and Craft Fair, a Chili Supper, and some great free entertainment at Harp Commons.
