(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was injured after she fell asleep while driving on Tunnelton Road on Friday night.
According to a Lawrence County Sheriff's report, 43-year-old Dawn Kinser was traveling north on Tunnelton Road near Duncan Hill Lane around 10:20 p.m. when she "dozed off" causing her 1998 Lexus to drive off the side of the road and hit a fire hydrant.
Kinser suffered a head contusion during the incident.
