Woman Arrested After Stealing From Richland Township Fire Department

(BLOOMFIELD) - A Bloomfield woman is accused of stealing funds from the Richland Township Fire Department.

Bloomfield Police arrested Jamie Sherer on a Level 6 felony charge of theft where the value of the property between $50,000 and $750,000.

Police began their investigation after officials at the fire department reportedly realized their account only had $33 left in it.

Shere posted a $400 cash bond today and was released from the Greene County Jail.
