(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Economic Growth Council is again inviting area startups, new business owners, and similar hopefuls to participate in an in-depth 8 week course covering the entrepreneurial experience.

Classmates will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Mondays beginning September 10th and follow an 8 week itinerary covering important topics when it comes to starting a company. Attendees will learn from others throughout the course, including talking with existing business leaders and experts from the Lawrence County area. The course is free to attend, but will be capped at 10 participants.

"We hope to instill best practices, foster understanding about owning/operating your own business, and develop a community who embraces entrepreneurship as a means of growth. Additionally, this course is a platform to discuss tough questions, gain knowledge and expand networks that assist in their development," says Shance Sizemore, CEO Lawrence County Economic Growth Council.

Entrepreneurs will dive into topics every business owner should be familiar with including: developing your company, exploring target audiences, financial planning, and creating opportunities that support your business model.
