Spring Mill State Park 25th Annual Heritage Days This Weekend

(MITCHELL) - Spring Mill State Park will host its 25th Annual Heritage Days Saturday and Sunday in the Pioneer Village.

The event will celebrate Lawrence County's bicentennial.

Those attending will see how pioneers lived their lives 175 years ago. There will be quilting, spinning, weaving and blacksmithing demonstrations and others.

Schedule of events for Saturday, August 4:

On Sunday, the annual quilt show will be conducted from noon to 4 p.m. in the Pioneer Village. Quilters who would like to display their craft are invited to display or demonstrate their work.

Lawrence County Tourism will provide cake from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday in the meeting house to celebrate Lawrence County's bicentennial.
