Orleans Summer Concert In The Park Series Wraps Up 2018 Season Saturday Night

(ORLEANS) - The annual Orleans Summer Concert will wrap up its 2018 season this coming Saturday night, August 18th with a special performance by the musical group “Mojave.”

The Free Concert begins at 7 p.m. on Bicentennial Stage, located in the southwest corner of historic Congress Square.

Mojave is a two person band that specializes in rock, blues, and originals. The band plays music from artists such as Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Doors, Johnny Cash, and many more. Johnny plays lead guitar and sings while Rosalee plays bass and sings. Rosalee does songs by Patsy Cline, Iris Demit, Judy Collins, and also, accompanies Johnny on his vocals.

Those attending are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets as seating in the park is limited.

Concert in the Park is made possible through the generous support of Mid-Southern Savings, Visit French Lick/West Baden and the Orleans American Legion Post #69.

In case of in climate weather, the concert may be moved indoors to the nearby Orleans Christian Church Unity Hall.
