(BLOOMINGTON) - A man was found shot multiple times in the 1400 block of North Jackson Street this morning.
Bloomington Police were called to the scene at 7 a.m.
Capt. Steve Kellams says emergency personnel found the man near the apartment complex's mailboxes. He had suffered several gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Capt. Kellams says the shooting was not random and was a directed attack.
The incident remains under investigation.
