Jury Finds Evan Schaffer Guilty On All Counts

(BEDFORD) - Jurors found 23-year-old Evan Schaffer guilty of murder.

Schaffer was found guilty of murdering 25-year-old Justin Lampkins at the Bedford McDonald's drive-through during the early morning hours of April 23, 2017.

Tears streamed down Schaffer's face as the verdict was read.

Both Schaffer's and Lampkins' family were in the courtroom as the verdict was read. Both families attended every day of the trial.

Schaffer, of Orleans, was also found guilty of pointing a firearm, carrying a handgun without a license and battery resulting in bodily injury.

The jury took less than three hours deliberating.

Schaffer will be sentenced in Lawrence County Superior Court I by Judge John Plummer III on September 18th at 8:30 a.m.
