Walker's last day will be September 30th. He is resigning because of "philosophical differences" with a few of the school board members.

Walker spent his first 11 years of education teaching in Bedford and then started working at Brownstown in 2004. He was the high school assistant principal from 2004 to 2011 and middle school principal from 2011 to 2014.

He will serve as superintendent of Paoli Community School Corporation on October 1.

The Brownstown School board will form a transition team consisting of the three building principals, business manager Jade Peters and former business manager Harry Rochner to find Walker's replacement.
