(MITCHELL) - Spring Mill State Park will be the host of a Fiber Arts Weekend Sept. 1-3.
During this event visitors will learn to use the Drop Spindle, make a yarn doll, observe needle felting, make a friendship bracelets, make a quilt square, try finger weaving, weave a coaster and more.

Also this weekend Spring Mill Inn will host a Labor Day Celebration on Sunday, Sept. 2.
There will be backyard games - corn hole, badmintion, ping pong and more. The tournaments will begin at Noon.
There will be a Regatta Race in the pool. Sign up your team to race homemade boats in the pool. Supplies will be provided. The event will begin at 1 p.m.
A S'more Social will be held on the front porch. There will be a campfire, S'mores, popcorn, a cash bar and music featuring Jon Carl Isom. The event will begin at 7 p.m.
