(DAVIESS CO.) - Barr- Reeve School Superintendent Travis Madison is leaving Viking Country.
Madison has taken a job in Monroe County at the Richland-Bean Blossom School Corporation. His last day at Barr- Reeve is September 17th.
Madison told the Washington Times Herald his decision was bittersweet, saying he feels ready for a new challenge.
Madison says he'll probably work with Barr-Reeve on the transition as the system is beginning a 12 million dollar construction project.
He adds he's planning on staying in the area and commuting to Monroe County.
