Coroner Says Heart Issue Led To Hauser Student's Death

(HOPE) - A Hauser student’s death last week was caused by an acute heart related issue, according to the Bartholomew County Coroner’s office.

18-year-old Trevor "T.J." Frazee was brought to the emergency room by ambulance after a 911 call at 11:55 a.m. Thursday. The teen was complaining of difficulty breathing. He died at the hospital, according to Coroner Clayton Nolting.

"After the ambulance arrived, the patient coded and advanced life support protocols were initiated and the patient was transported to the (Emergency Department) where he was later pronounced dead," according to a press release from the coroner's office..

Nolting ordered an autopsy, which was performed on Friday. The investigation concluded that Frazee died from an acute heart-related issue.

He was a previous member of the Young Marines and 4-H.

Services for the Hauser senior will be at 11 a.m. today at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service at the funeral home.
