(BLOOMINGTON) - The board of the Bloomington Chamber Singers (BCS) has announced receipt of a grant from German American Bancorp to support its performance activities in the Bloomington community. The $600 grant was applied toward the purchase of a set of choral platforms.

Board president Paul Pisano noted that the platform system enables the choir and instrumentalists to perform safely in any location.

"We are deeply grateful to German American Bancorp for helping us serve our community through the
performing arts," he added.

Founded in 1970, BCS is a community chorus of volunteer singers that performs a full schedule of concerts each season. For more information, visit their website at chambersingers.info.
