Bedford Police arrested 47-year-old Bradley Goss on charges of invasion of privacy, domestic battery in the presence of a minor and strangulation.

According to Bedford Police Chief Terry Moore, officers were alerted to the attack after the female victim came to the police station to report the incident.

Police say Goss was upset because of a Facebook post he found and when he returned to the victim's home he confronted her.

"The victim and a small child attempted to leave, and that is when he put the victim in a choke hold nearly making the victim pass out," Chief Moore says. "Mr. Goss let go of the choke hold and the victim left and went to a relatives' house. The relative brought the victim to our department."

Chief Moore says the victim also had an active protective order against Bradley which he violated landing him with the charge of invasion of privacy.
