Indiana State Police arrested 45-year-old Christopher Hohnstreiter on three felony counts of incest and three felony counts of child solicitation.

He was arrested Friday morning. Hohnstreiter appeared in Jackson Circuit Court on Monday for an initial hearing where the court entered a not guilty plea. He will stand trial on January 29th. He is being held on a $4,005 cash bond only.

He has denied all of the allegations.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Hohnstreiter is accused of soliciting sex from two girls younger than the age of 16.

Indiana State Police began their investigation after the Jackson County Department of Child Services received a information about one of the girls on April 30th.

Indiana State Police Detective Andrew Mitchell, alleges Hohnstreiter contacted the girls for sex as early as Sept. 19, 2016, and he continued to contact them through various messaging services including Facebook, TextPlus and TextNow through April of this year.

The girls told detectives, Hohnstreiter asked the girls to delete the messages once they were read.

Police say Hohnstreiter offered one of the girls money and marijuana in exchange for sex.

Armed with a search warrant police obtained social media records, messages, a cellphone, three tablets, drug paraphernalia all located in his room at his mother's home where Hohnstreiter has been living for the past three years.

Police are also hoping to recover Hohnstreiter's laptop, which he says he destroyed because it was broken.
