Man Turns Self In On Rape Charges

Last updated on Tuesday, July 31, 2018

(BLOOMINGTON) - An Indianapolis man accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Bloomington turned himself in on Sunday morning.

According to police, 25-year-old Princeton M. Fields II, is facing four counts of rape. He is being held in the Monroe County Jail on a $20,000 bond.

Court records say two women who met Fields and a friend through a dating app invited the men to their home one night in July 2017 to play cards and drink alcohol. One of the women told police that Fields raped her several times during the night. After the incidents the woman went to a local hospital for a sexual assault exam and reported the crime to police.

Criminal charges were filed against Fields in September.
