Man Injured After Crashing Vehicle Into Tree

(BEDFORD) - An Evansville man was injured after he lost control of his vehicle on Pinhook Road and crashed into a tree on Thursday afternoon.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 19-year-old Isaiah Strissel was traveling west on Pinhook Road when he came to the curve, hit the brakes on his 1995 Honda Accord and they locked up.

Strissel told police he was going less than 50 miles per hour when the accident happened.

The car ran off the roadway and hit a tree.

Strissel suffered minor bleeding to his elbow and lower arm.He was then taken by private vehicle to a local hospital for treatment.
