(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Republican Central Committee will hold a special caucus Friday, August 24th to fill the vacancy of Indian Creek Township Trustee created by the immediate resignation of Kyle Hall.
The caucus will be at 6 p.m. at the Indian Creek Volunteer Fire Department at 5357 State Road 158.
Interested republican candidates in good standing must file a notarized declaration of candidacy (State Form CEB-5 found on the Secretary of State website and at the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office) and submit a letter of interest to Chairman Chris May no later than 72 hours before the caucus.
Candidacy forms may be notarized at the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office.
No candidacy forms will be accepted after the deadline.
All forms are available online at the Indiana Secretary of State website and the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office. Forms may be mailed to: Chris May, 125 Rockwood Drive, Bedford, IN 47421.
