(CHICAGO) - Hadley Hawkins made it to the Youth of the Year Midwest Region finals Tuesday.
Hadley is the first state Youth of the Year in the history of the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence County.
She plans to attend Marian University to study Elementary Education and minor in Pastoral Leadership upon graduation.
The Illinois Youth of the Year, Cynthia A. was named 2018-19 Midwest Youth of the Year and Brandon C. from USAG Fort Knox CYS Services was named the 2018-19 Midwest Military Youth of the Year.
