Greene County Man Arrested For Molesting 5-Year-Old Victim

(BLOOMFIELD) - A Bloomfield man was arrested on felony child molesting charges on Friday.

After an investigation conducted by Indiana State Police Detective Stacy Brown and Trooper Wyatt Phillips, an affidavit was prepared by Detective Brown and approved by Greene County Prosecutor Jarrod Holtsclaw.

The affidavit indicated probable cause was found that 26-year-old Damian R.Z. Richards, of Bloomfield, engaged in multiple sexual contacts with a 5-year-old victim.

Richards is facing three felony counts of child molesting and one felony count of preforming sexual conduct in the presence of minor.

Susie's Place, a Child Advocacy Center, in Bloomington assisted investigators by conducting a forensic interview of the victim.

Susie's Place has served more than 7,000 children since their first interview in 2009. In 2017, Susie's Place conducted 1,340 interviews.
