Last updated on Tuesday, July 10, 2018

(BEDFORD) - As part of General Motor’ ongoing commitment to keep the public informed as they progress through the environmental investigation and cleanup at and near the Bedford Plant, the public is invited to a general information session on Wednesday, July 18th, 2018 at 6 p.m.

The meeting will be held at the GHD Field Trailer south of the Plant, located near the corner of Fourth Street and GM Drive (enter from GM drive). Parking will be in the trailer's gravel lot.

At this session, officials will provide an update of the project and allow people to visit one-on-one with the project team to talk about specific, individual issues

"I am confident this presentation will address any questions and concerns that you may have about the cleanup and provide ample opportunity for you to ask additional questions," says Cherly Hiatt, project manager at GM. "These information sessions are part of our community outreach efforts to keep you and others in our community informed regarding the project and also to provide you with an opportunity to tell us what's on your mind."

Information regarding the project is also available at the plant's web site at: www.BedfordPowertrainCorrectiveAction.com. Residents can also view project documents on disk at the Bedford Public Library.
