(BLOOMINGTON) - Police arrested a Bloomington teen after they received calls reporting an erratic driver who was waving a handgun out the window.

Indiana University Police say a motorist called 911 at 7:16 p.m. reported a male in a car was driving erratically near Ranger Road and State Road 45/46. The driver was weaving in and out of traffic and had ran a red light while pointing a handgun at motorists.

Bloomington Police officers stopped the vehicle a short time later at the intersection of 17th and Monroe streets. IU Police assisted in the traffic stop.

Police arrested 18-year-old Bryan Brooks on a felony charge of intimidation. He is being held on a $10,500 bond.

Found three BB guns that looked like a semi-automatic handgun in the car.
