(VALLONIA) - The Joe Jackson Hotel Restoration committee is hosting a yard sale on Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at the Joe Jackson Hotel at 2420 South Main Street in Vallonia.
There will be a variety of items, including construction project materials, furniture, kitchen items, housewares and more.
The yard sale is a fundraiser to raise money toward the $40,000 needed to secure a $400,000 grant to finish restorations at the hotel.
The hotel, owned by the Fort Vallonia Days Association, was built in 1914 and is listed on the federal and state registers of historic places.
