(MITCHELL) - Troy Pritchett, assistant principal at Mitchell High School, will serve as the school’s interim principal following the resignation of Sean Vandeventer.
The Times Mail reports that the Mitchell school board met on Monday and approved the recommendation from Mitchell Community Schools Superintendent Steve Phillips.
The same vote allows for Danny Reynolds, the school's athletic director, to serve as interim assistant principal, while also maintaining his previous duties.
Vandeventer resigned as principal in May with an effective date of June 30. He accepted a job teaching industrial arts at Eastern Greene schools.
