(SPRINGVILLE) - The Springville Festival is scheduled for June 15-16.
Activities will include an afternoon parade and 5K on June 16. A golf scramble is set for June 23rd at Hidden Hills Golf Course. All proceeds will go to the gym restoration fund.
Volunteer Denny Godsey says the restoration fund currently has enough to frame the inside of the gym and build the roof, but more funds are needed to complete the project.
On Friday, June 15th will be the annual picnic in the park from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a gospel sing presented by the Swango Family & Friends beginning at 6 p.m.
On Saturday, June 16th will include the 5K run/walk, the craft market opening at 10 a.m., food vendors, kids bicycle games and races at 10 a.m. The corn hole tournament will begin at Noon.
An obstacle course and games will begin at 2 p.m. with the parade stepping off at 4 p.m.
Dames Rocket will perform from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.
