(MONTGOMERY) - The recent rains and flooding has extended a project on US 50 at Montgomery.
A drainage structure is being replaced on 50 between old 50 and 600-East and US 50, opening has been delayed because of weather.
Officials say the highway should be reopened Wednesday.
The unofficial detour route is 900E South to Old US 50 then West to US 50 at McCracken's curve. This route is for local car and pickup truck traffic only. Heavy trucks are highly encouraged to utilize I-69, State Road 58, US 231 and US 50.
