Last updated on Monday, June 18, 2018

(PAOLI) - The Paoli Police Department will be hosting it’s first block party on Saturday, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Water Street from the intersections of Josephine to Elm streets.

The roadway will be closed from Noon until 9 p.m. on Saturday to allow for set up and the event and all vehicles will be to be removed from the roadway.

The event will have games such as bingo, a cookie walk, corn hole and ladder ball and more. There will be a snow cone truck from Orleanse selling snow cones at a discounted rate along with other food vendors and musc.

This block party is open to any residents living on the southeast side of town. If you don't live on the SE Side of town we politely ask that you refrain from attending the event as items for the event are limited and the block parties are designed for the neighbors of each particular neighborhood to come together and get to know each other.

If this happens to not be in your neighborhood and you would like to be involved in the planning of the block party in your neighborhood please contact the department.

The department would like to thank residents in the neighborhood, Lost River Market & Deli, REMC and Walmart for their help with food and refreshments and helping organize this event.
